My secret tool is intermittent fasting.

And here’s why 🙂

Top 4 Benefits of Intermittent Fasting
– Promotes a healthy weight
– Supports a healthy inflammation response
– Supports cognitive health
– Help fight stress-induced cravings

The word “fasting” sounds intimidating but I promise you, it’s very simple and easy!

Basically, you abstain from food for a window of time.

This gives your body a break from constant food intake and allows your gut and body a chance to regroup.

When you eat, your body uses glucose (sugar) as its main source of energy and stores whatever is left as glycogen in your muscles and liver.

So when you don’t give your body glucose, it breaks down the glycogen as fuel.

After the glycogen has been depleted, your body uses other sources, such as fat cells, for energy.

The most common type of intermittent fasting is the 16/8 method.

With this schedule you fast 16 hours per day and eat in an 8-hour window. For example, you would stop eating at 8pm at night and then break your fast at 12pm the next day.

This is easiest and most beneficial fasting method for most people.

So, if you’re wanting to loss fat or ready to get your body to that next level this is definitely something worth trying!
